BRANDING AND IDENTITY, ENVIORNMENTAL DESIGN
We created a new brand identity with this brand promise in mind: “We [Genki] are innovative, exciting and approachable; crafting a unique sushi experience in a fun and inviting atmosphere.”
Genki Sushi is a chain of express service conveyor belt sushi restaurants with locations in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait, and the United States. Our concept makes use of bright and colorful graphics to make Genki approachable and fun. The origami inspired logo and graphics reflect innovation as well as tradition, while the modern typography attracts a young and hip clientele.
This was a quarter long project for branding class, where we created a brand guidelines book, logo, graphic assets, the items pictured here, and more.
